Crew Relies on Bats Again Beat Cards 7-4

The story is starting to sound the same Brewers pitching does just well enough to keep the score close enough for the Brewers to crush their way to victory.

Travis Shaw got it all going in the first with a three run jack and Eric Thames cracked a two run homer in the fifth to get the lead back after St. Louis had rallied.
Milwaukee needed to right the ship after a two game skid in Chicago and this was a great way to start out a long homestand.

Jett Bandy’s two run shot put the finishing touches the game for the Brewers who have their record back at .500.
