Chase Anderson tossed seven innings of three hit shutout ball and struck out seven batters to go along with only two walks. He seems to be getting comfortable with his role and coming into his own in the Brewers rotation. Pitching has been the big question until lately.
Villar who was one of the hottest hitters last season has been feast or famine this year but seems to launch a bomb right when the Brewers truly need it in there wins. His Homer in the sixth gave Milwaukee some insurance and added an exclamation point to a well fought victory.
The Blue Jays have been anything but great this year, so it doesn’t make a lot of sense to get overly excited about Milwaukee’s two close victories against a struggling team.

As far as the closer spot, Neftali Feliz has quitely started to impress with his third save in as many tries.
