It started out looking rough for the young Bucks who have failed to match their intensity from March here in the early going of April. The good thing is they came back strong on a triple-double by Giannis Antetokounmpo and a solid team performance in this one.
The scary part is that the Bucks didn’t even managed to score 90 points. The amazing part is that the held the Hornets to 79.
The “Greek Freak” only scored 10 points but no one is going to complain since he added 11 rebounds and 10 assists. He also travel coast to coast to make a highlight stealing block on a layup by Charlottes Brian Roberts.
Greg Monroe quietly provided another stellar performance coming off the bench for the Bucks and adding 16 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. He continues to shine for the Bucks even after being on the trade block earlier this season.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist led the Hornets with just points. Two other players had 12 each for Charlotte who looked strong early, then sputtered out at the end.
Now the Bucks head to Boston to face the Celtics in the final game of the season, then just have to wait and see how every falls together for their seeding and scheduling for the first round of the playoffs.
