Two years ago Brandon Marshall made the first big splash of the Free Agent Season when he landed with the New York Jets. For some reason, when I heard the Jets had let him go, I figured there was a good chance he could do it again in 2017.
Sure enough, after a slow first day of the tampering period, Marshall makes the first big noise by staying in New York but going across town(or pretty much switching locker rooms) to the Giants.
Eli Manning already has some of the scariest targets in the league, this move could definitely raise this team to an even more frightening level.
The deal will pay Marshal $12 million over the next two years and give him the opportunity to become the first receiver to have 1,000 receiving yards in a season with 5 different teams.
