Raiders may look to add these impact players in Free Agency

Martellus Bennett, TE, New England

Derek Carr has had plenty of success throwing the ball in his young career. Imagine what would happen if he had a star like Bennett to throw to. That would definitely open up the Red Zone possibilities and take some of the pressure off of the young receivers. Bennett isn’t all that young anymore, but he could possibly be the piece that allows the Raiders to take that next step.

Tony Jefferson, S, Arizona Cardinals

I’m super high on this kid and think he would be a great fit for anyone looking to buy low on a future star. He’s young, experienced and outplayed the guy who is considered the prototypical “new era” safety. He’s already said he would like to play in Oakland and he would instantly make this defense even better.

Eddie Lacy, RB, Green Bay

Just stop and picture Lacy’s long hair and violent style of running in a black and silver uniform and tell me these two weren’t made for each other. It’s hard to know if Lacy is injury prone because everyone in Green Bay seems to be. He’s definitely worth a shot though, because when he is on top of his game he can wreak havoc on any defense and that will open up lanes for the passing game.

DeSean Jackson, WR, Washington Redskins

DeSean Jackson, WR, Washington Redskins

Jackson may have worn some tread off of the tires over the years but I’m sure Carr wouldn’t complain about having him around to help stretch the field. The Raiders obviously have other needs that need to be filled before receiver but this could be a move that makes them nearly impossible to defend.
